Can someone who has a Nokia N70 on Orange please tell me what the actual internal memory of the phone? I've browsed through mobile review sites and seems that each site is stating different memory sizes from 22, 30 and 32 and 35 mb so its getting all confusing to know which one is the actual one! Does any of this space be taken up by the Orange branding so there is less storage?
Also what type of memory card does it take? the normal MMC or reduced size MMC and the size of the memory card? What is the maxium memory card it can take in external memory?

Thanks for your help,

@ fatreg: so the actual internal memory for Orange branded is only 22 mb?

So i don't understand where the other figures of internal memory is coming from unless the N70 branded on other networks have a larger memory Orange or would they be the same?

Humm, well i had a feeing it wouldn't more than 30 mb! But as a curiosity, i would like other Nokia N70 users who have it branded on the other networks to post thier internal memory!

Ok thanks for that info. I'll let my boy-friend know who will be getting his new Nokia N70 from upgrade around Monday!

So that would mean he would only have 86 mb (22 mb internal + 64 mb external) memory which is 464 mb less than my SE W800i as i have 550 mb all together! (38 mb internal + 512 mb external)

it would indeed he has less, but sometimes less is more!

ie, ive a W900i with 1gb of space, yet it can still only hold like 150 smss. yet my N70 with 80mb of space has about 300 smss in it atm

Ok thanks. Yeah well my boy-friend had a choice between the Nokia 6680, Nokia N70 or SE W800i! He has a Nokia 6600 so i guess sticking to a Nokia was a good idea.

How is the N70 on Orange? Have you had any problems with it since you had it?

Ok. As i have heard and read that the Nokia N70 seem to have software problems from other users! Doubt he will use the 3G. What's the latest version on the N70? Which version have you got on yours?

Yes he does know that the charger has changed but there is an adaptor that he can use for him to able to use his old one from the 6600.

Ok well keep my fingers crosed that his N70 will be in good working order (S/W wise!)

A slight problem developed on my S/W on my W800i a few weeks when i got it (which had the R1N035 S/W) but i brought it to the SE Service centre and they upgraded it to R1AA008 and i had no problems with it since

Thanks for all you help so far!
