2BG stick probs on W800i |

Hi bought a 2GB Sony High speed stick from Ebay, chinese righting on the packaging,
hope you can help me now.. i have inserted it into my Sony W800 and it worked fine loaded it up with tunes etc.. then the phone starts freezing.. took it out tried it in the PSP no memory stick inserted message appears. tried it back in the phone, the phone just flashes and dos'nt come on!
any ideas?
faulty stick or ?

W800I does not supported 2gb 1GB max , only W810i supported 2GB . please read more detail on Sony ericsson offical site or search some review on google ^_^ |

As Coxy said, it is very likely to be fake.
Don't buy any cheap high-capacity memory stick from eBay since it is almost always fake. If you are very lucky, fake ones will work, but they just won't work very well.

Exactly, I have had two in my time and theyre just crap. Pay the extra, get a real one, and itll last. That my advice.

i myself (and a LOT of esatonians) have a 2gb mspd in my w800
W810i + 2gb Sony MSDP (not fake...the real thing) |

yeah this is not true. maybe you are the one that should read the sites better.
it can accept 2Gb and probably larger sizes when they come out. |

wasn't w800 supposed to support up to 32 gb max?? (i think i have read that somewhere)

What are you talking about? Wjy don't you read the site. There are lots of esato users using 2GB cards. I have one in my P910i and one in my W800i.

I have 1 problem with my Sandisk 2GB (a genuine one from Amazon).
It works fine if all the files are written using the phone. However, if I take it out and use a card reader to write a file, and I put it back into the phone, the phone can't recognize the memory stick.
Anyone has similar issue? |

i just got a Sony 2GB for my W800i for $75 and it works great. i even got rid of my 4GB iPod mini. |
