i have had some nasty experiences with hutch they charged me rs 2000 for some rubbish i never downloaded . Hutch cc is completely third grade i phoned them like 20 times to find out about my phone email client feature and they moronically said they didnt know what i meant. There gprs cost (both basic and advanced) is exhorbitant and generall coverage is also pretty bad. i can say im kind of frustrated with Hutch but im scare airtel would be even worse so i am sticking to hutch for now

50p/10kB works out to 51.2 rupees per mB! who would even opt for such a thing?
Even 10p/10kB=10.24rs/mB is exorbitant. If i download a 4MB mp3, i'll have to pay 40+ bucks to hutch alone, apart from buying it?

Yes guys, I totally agree with all of you. Hutch is now totally interested in sucking money. This is why they are loosing popularity very fast. I was an admirer of hutch before this 10p/10kb thing. I had to shift to Airtel only because of this and I personnaly know many people who are also leaving hutch connections.

I only hope Airtel remains normal.

hutch is not likely to cut their Gprs rates hutch has a policy that better have less subscribers who can pay higher bills than more subscribers with lower bills. basially hutch thinks they are a cool fancy company appealing to to the elite of our nation. once the number portality thing comes out i will shift.

HUTCH signals(coverage) are very low in Southern Karnataka. So Airtel & CellOne(Specially Airtel) are very popular here.
