Hi,
I want to receive sms messages using hyper terminal. in hyperterminal I just type: at+cnmi=x,y,z,w,t.
I set the values of the parameters due to the discriptions of cnmi command( in a pdf file for k750 series At command ) but it doesn't work.
I have tested this command by replacing some values(0..3) for variables x,y,z,t,w.
but none of the tested cases caused receiving message in hyperterminal. I though if I want to test more, I will be broke!
would any one plz say me how I should set the parameters? or if this command is not enough what scenario I should run?

According to the doc, AT+CNMI is for setting how the terminal is notified for sms receiving.
AT+CMGL should be used for retrieving SMS
AT+CMGL=0 give you unread SMS
AT+CMGL=1 give you allready read SMS
AT+CMGL=4 give you all SMS

I was in a big mistake.
I wante to know, usually by what values you set the parameters, if you want to trigger an application when the phone receives an sms? I mean for this reason (triggering an application) what values for the parameters are best?

it would be greatly appreciated if any one who have ever written an
application which receives an sms guide me. because the doc instructions about cnmi command is not clear to me.
