Hi all,

Got a problem when trying to sync my Outlook and my T68i via IR.

Connection open correctly, Outlook ask me to access the contact (I said yes) but after that.... I still waiting the rest...
the windows says: "Getting information from Ericsson Phone COntacts"
"Reading Status information"
"Slow Sync Mode"
and the Cancel button....

Even If I wait 10 minutes nothing else appear...

if I click on the Cancel button, the synchro stops.... as it should do...

Still the same problem

The process goes down correctly when I stop the synch.

If I stop it violently during the process, the synchro stops... but apparently, the PC cannot takes the info out of the T68. It hangs when trying to read the info fron the contacts of the T68.

HELP PLEASE

Maybe you have an 'ackward' entry in your phone. I did have the same problem using IR. Then I deleted an entry on my phone starting with - (Full name:-Frankrijk).
For me that solved the problem

Kroepoek,

i used to have the same problem when trying to sync via BT.
Today I tried again and as it didn't work I forgot about it. About an hour later, the XTND message popped up, prompting for the desired sync action.

Since then, it works perfectly. Seems to be a problem of data amount. So just give it time enough and everthing goes as it should.

True. I had a similar problem when I first synched up my T68i. I just left it there for a couple of minutes (Slow sync mode) and it continued eventually.
