I'm thinking of buying one but can't decide who to get it from.
The o2 deals look ok...i wonder how much branding they will have as opposed to voda supplied ones, and would my orange sim work in a o2 one?
What say you all??? |

Im not getting it. Its got no real extras over the W800i for me. EDGE is of no use to me as O2 dont support it. I am waiting for the K800i to replace my W800i.

As regards the title of this thread...personally I'm gonna wait for July or whenever for the K800.
But dang, the W810 does look so damn suave and chic, IMHO.
Will see what they go for later in the year, when the K800 is out; hopefully the release of this and the W950 will really push the W810 price down significantly by then...

Yes, i bought a W800i for my wife. I'm impressed with its features but not its looks! The W810i looks good to me, and its feature count stacks up plus its not as bulky as my W900i...so its on my shopping list now. |

the only advantge of w810i, that it has got the duo, not that micro whatever, so no nned to buy new mem card, as at k8 for example.

I am pretty dissapointed of the Walkman serious now. It started with W550 and W600, fabulous, then if went on to the W800 =) my love. Then, now there is the W950 and W850. My plan expires in 9 months. I really like the Walkman series but the two new walkman phones aren't that great, I would get the W950 if it was either smaller or have a fabulous camera. |

am getting one..upgrading my k700 finally.i find it better than w800 in looks(black...really like the camera side) and have no need for 3.2mpx.also i want edge.and its got black earphones(fingers crossed).
and no joystick

-EDGE and band 850 users, primarily, who missed out on the W800
-those who want W900 features (sans 3G): background SMS sending ala-Nokia series 60, copy/paste in the editor, OTA firmware updating, better MMS profiling system, etc
-extreme  zealots [like myself]  who's just has to try every single walkman phone out there |

I really want the phone, but it doesnt have any advantages over my w800i. So only if i can sell my w800i for a good price i'll buy a w810 |
