My Mineral grey T68ie and my firend Mineral grey T68ie bought abt same time the LCD looks different! one bright and one dark! when go the svc centre , they say different batch different LCD!! what is this!?!?! so the more i look at mine the more sian i get! though when compared to T68m or T68i ( Artic blue ) , mine looks more superior, but when compared to the same as my friend the Mineral grey T68ie, mine loses out and i cant do anything abt it!! shit!!!

just the way it is.... it's been discussed before... the display has been improved over time....

Other things which make every T68 unique are:

-dark patches along the bottom edge of the screen
-severity of screen "ghosting"
-contrast level at standard setting
-how much the volume slider rattles
-uniformity of keypad backlighting
-feel of joystick when pressed in each direction
-lateral movement of Yes and No buttons
-tiny "dimples" on some screens

Just think of it as each T68 having its own "personality" - some are better, some are worse!

yup... experienced the non consistency too...
when i got my t68i, the keypad sounds very loud & "crispy".. but when i got a replacement unit (which has a softer keypad sound) i noticed the screen was dimmer + yellowish....!!??!!
Wow... big diff!!!! i kept my old t68i..... wont trade off my bright white screen!!!!

I had a t68m at first and then unfortunatly i lost it.Then i got another T68mc upgraded to i and there was quite a difference in quality.The gd points abt the t68mc is that its amber keypad lights are very bright compared to the old one which was just average.But other then that i prefer my old t68.The new one was rattling noice on the slider button and the keypad has a squeaking noice...

My T68m keypad squeaked when it was new but that went away after a few weeks. Also, the 9 button had to be pushed extra hard for it to work but that also went away. Maybe they just need to wear in a little bit like a new pair of shoes! |||XerXes®|||, I hope you experience the same thing.
