Hi Guys,
Talked a bit lower in the thread about these BT handsfree things.
Was in Holland last week and got me a Parrot Driveblue (149 € at Phonehouse). Believe me this thing is magic!!
Stick it in the car power supply (cigaret-lighter) and of you go. BT in the R520m on "ON", pair as headset and the thing pumps down your phonebook.
Under EXTRAS (Menu 5 - accessoiries), you find the Parrot's Menu where you can personalize it. Once you've teached it the voice commands, you never touch it again. There is a wordspot mode so when it rings you just say the word and you're on the air!
Two little minor points: if you want to command by voice, BT has to be on "ON", in automatic position it "loses" contact.
If you insist to have the R520m on "AUTOMATIC" (to save power), you can use it but you have to hit "NO" when the R520m asks you if you want the call in the phone.
Audio is more than surprizing. At motorway speed (± 140/150 kmh) you understand your contact very well.
On the other side it a bit less good, my voice seems to be a bit "metallic" and the fact that the thing is not totally duplex, asks for some adaptation.
Funny thing the one using the Driveblue has priority so if you don't want to be cut while talking, don't leave blancs and your partner has no chance!!
I'm very happy with it - a relatively cheap solution without any car-ripping or heavy installation.
It seems you can even pair it with several phone at the time!!
Just wanted you to know this (and I don't have any relationship with Parrot )
Bye,

Okay whats the diff between r4a and r4b for the t39. And will SE UK honour the warranty on a r520mc bought in the UK brand new with receipt?
