Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with mobilefun.co.uk ??
I ordered a GPS reciever from them about 2 weeks back and have not heard anything, no item and no contact from them.
Called them today and they said its probably lost in the post so will send me out a claim form and also another GPS reciever.
I told the guy on the phone that it says that the GPS reciever is out of stock, he replied 'they are back in on monday, so we will send you one out right away, you wll probably recieve it by wednesday'.
They have taken the payment for the item and its been quite a while now... worth talking further or just wait the extra few days?
Anyone else had dealings like this before with this company?
Cheers.

I've bought loads from them but their online stock levels are very unreliable.
for that reason I tend to order over the phone, or at least check the stock level over the phone
apart from that, no problems at all!

I have ordered quite a bit of stuff from this company online and have never had any problems, they have also answered my emails within 1 or 2 days.

I agree with masseur, I've used them on a few occasions and their stock levels vary from what is listed on the website, but I've always received a quality producy in the end.

I bought a replacement P900 LCD screen from them last year. When it was delivered it was faulty, so i sent it back. No problems up to that point.
They said they'd sent me out a replacement. It never came. I contacted them after a week and they said the guy who told me on the phone he'd sent a replacement was mistaken, and they had none in stock. I waited a further week for them to get more in stock. After a week i called them, and they said they had them in stock, and one would be dispatched to me that day.
After 6 weeks i still had no LCD screen, and they still had my money. I cancelled the order and got a refund.
Mobilefun are a bit like a taxi company, if they dont have your product in stock, they still tell you it is, and it'll be with you any day now. Dont believe them, if your product does not arrive get a refund - you could be waiting for months !
EDIT: also, i bought a phone from them last year, when it arrived the box was completely flat, and terribly damaged. Whether it was their fault or Royal Mail's, ive no idea, it was only pure luck that the entire package contents functioned fine that i didnt need to get a replacement or refund. Personally i'd guess it was Mobilefun's fault, since the SE box came inside a Citylink bag, but on the SE box itself were lots of scratches and scrapes - not something you'd get since there wasnt a mark on the Citylink bag covering the box.
I'd shop with Mobilefun again (i did recently, bought a fast port to 3.5mm adaptor), and had no problems with them, but i would hesitate buying the more expensive items from them (phones, LCD screens).

from my experience I say dont use them.
They liars and will give you an unlimited amount of delays (waited 2 months for a mem stick, which I cancelled the order)
I even gave them two more chances after that.
Needless to say, nothing arrived, and nothing but stress.
I 'HATE' them is an understatement.

I've dealt with them before on about 5 separate occasions. Out of those 5, 4 orders arrived without any problems or delays, but they sent the wrong item on the 5th order. They did replace it promptly and apologised.
However, as masseur has already stated, it's far better to phone them directly to ensure that the items that you are after are indeed in stock/ available!

Used once i think for a memory card and no problems. I did once order a k750i from them with it saying in stock on the site but after it not arriving the next day as it should of gave them a bell and found it was out of stock so therefore cancelled.

They will have only sent it out, after you called them.
If you didnt call them, i doubt they'd have ever sent it out.

I've been lucky from the sounds of things. I've bought replacement T610 covers on a couple of occassions and each time received them within a couple of days.
