After buying quite a few phones off Ebay recently that have had different or more faults than advertised and getting sick of it, I'm looking for somewhere else to get them from. I've bought phones with broken screens, only to fix them and find they're blocked, or got the dreaded 'insert sim' when a sim is inserted problem. I'm spending a fair amount of money, and basically getting ripped off or dissapointed when these faults are found, and I suspect some sellers are selling on knowing these faults (as it's obvous the phones have been opened by wear on screws). Any ideas where I can look? Anyone here get faulty phones and don't know what to do with them?

I've asked at places like the Carphone Warehouse for what they do with part exes, etc., they send them off to be recycled and wouldn't sell to me. I have wondered about buying a job lot of untested mobiles off Ebay, but is a bit of a gamble. Any other avenues open to me?

Maybe try going around carboot sales, or trying here and on other forums. Although you may have the same problem, not everyone is honest unfortunately.

Cannot really think of anything else, sorry.
