Hi!
Two days ago, something very strange happened to my T68i (firmware R2E006). I didn't drop it or anything, it just did this: The phone thinks there's a headset connected all the time, even when there isn't. This means, that the internal speaker and mike are disabled, so I have to use the headset all the time.

When I do a reset, still the same. When I turn off and on the phone, it immediately changes to the headset-profile. Another disadvantage is that the phone can't use the data cable anymore (because it thinks there is a headset connected and these two don't work together ).

Is there a way to do a 'hard reset'? I tried the reset options in the menu but they don't help me.

And I am sure the speaker works, 'cause it makes sound when I use the tests in the service menus.

Please, help me! The shop where I got my phone doesn't exist anymore, so I don't know where else to go!!!

you have tried just to change profiles in the Settings menu?

however... there is probably something wrong with the systemconnector on your phone, which makes it think there is a hf connected, but by replacing the systemconnector it will be back to normal again. Just bring your phone to a servicepoint and they'll fix it.

Yep, tried that. It was the first thing I was thinking of. Manualy changing the profile back to normal, didn't work.

I think I'll go for the service point.

Anybody knows a service point in The Netherlands, region Rotterdam / Den Haag?

You know, my phone did the exact same thing the other day but now it works fine again..... Except the warning red light for battery low doesn't seem to function.

I alwas use the charger that came with the phone. When I plug it in, it says 'snelladen', or fast-charging.

Why shouldn't I use this option? Can it damage/shorten battery life?
