what do people make of the samsung d870, at 13 mm thick and a 3 megapixel camera with 80mb plus extra support for memory with a memory card it does look like a really good phone. I don't know when the release date is out. However I am deciding if I should go and get the s.e w810i out next week on o2.
or if i should wait around and get the samsung d870 phone.

Wow, this is better that the K800 in just about every aspect! How'd they manage to keep it so small? No doubt the video will be better.

K800 is nothing.
Check out http://www.sonyericsson.co.jp - the lucky people in Japan have such a wide and different selection of SE phones to choose from. There some really wicked looking phones over there. They already have a 3.2MP phone, the SE SO902i.

@snowdevl The SO902i looks sooo much better in the flesh. I really like the red metallic colour. Ah, oh well, we'll never get hold of it though...

I plan to get this D870 for my wife. She's been using the D500 for quite a while now and loves it. I did get her the D600 but she didn't think the upgrade was enough so she had me sell it on ebay (for a profit! )
she does like the slimness of this though (wonder if it comes in pink  )

depending on what he buys for you, you might get a very pretty paperweight !! Hahahahahahha!
Make sure it can be unlocked and that it can access networks outside of Japan...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sick and tired of waiting (P990i) is old news before it even hits the shop lol phone manufactures should release pics of there phones a couple of weeks bofore ther released not to get everyones knickers in a twist 
I really would like the new D870 but after a thought
it's the same as me D600 only the camera change
