Firmware upgrade in Ireland |

Hi Gang, just got myself a new T68i 3 weeks ago. And was wondering is there a firmware upgrade centre anywhere in Ireland. I have already gone to the se support site and tried to enter the phones model number to access the support.... But I am having no luck. So can anyone either tell me what number to type on the se site.....Or where in Ireland do I take the phone to.......Cheers gang and I promise to vote yes to the Nice Treaty....... |

yo man im in dublin too and have been looking for a place to upgrade the firmware too.
I know theres a place called MPRC or Mobile Phone Repair Centre out in sandyford ind. est. that does tons of stuff. most shops send phones there for repair. i'll call them on mon.

Yeah I heard about that place as well.... One of the guys in work had his 8210 reparied out there. I thought they were a Nokia service centre only..... When I see him again I'll get more details.... Let me know what they say when you contact them....... I will be over in the Channel Islands in 10 days time may try to get the firmware upgrade done then..... But I think the upgrade deletes your phone book...... I know the Carfone Warehouse does the upgrade in England. Maybe the main one in Henry St (I think) will do the upgrade. I'll call them on Monday and see if they do and post what I find.........Later

Just off the phone to MPRC in Sandyford. Talked to some tech support guy. And they do the firmware upgrade for the T68i. It takes about 2-3 hours to do the upgrade. And he said they have the latest version, even though he didn't which one Forgot to ask if there is a charge for doing the upgrade. But this is Ireland and you don't get anything for free here.....

Hi Guys , Sorry I'm a bit late with my reply , But there is a place called Sigma Communications in Finglas .They are SE Registered service centre. |
