Ive always found se's menus to be easier than nokia, because they are more clear, but that is just my opinion. Chris

WAP browsing is much easier in my T39 than on my friend's 6510 (though I must admit T39's screen size is small for today's standards). We can't figure out how to resume access to wap page on the 6510. It seems that you need to start all over again on the main page, log in, and go to that page.
Also, another downer for the NOKIA: When an SMS messages arrives, you need to get out of the GPRS to read the SMS. This is very much unlike SE GPRS phones where the SMS pops up in front of the GPRS page.

Nokia's used to be much better, but their last few phones have been getting steadily worse.
I'm still a fan of Nokia's, but they just don't make the phone I want (I've got a T68i now, and had an 8310 previously).

Well I have been a fan of nokia since the 232 roughly 6 years or so ago and have had nokia phones since. My last nokia which I still have is the 8290. My first Ericsson is the T68m(soon to be upgraded to t8i) and I have to say I love it! The menus on this phone are incredibly easy to use and its layed out well. I am now a fan of SE and will probably stay with SE for the near future.

I have been a Nokia user for almost 4 years, and yesterday I got the T300 ... When I started using the SE menues I did not notice any pros or cons from the Nokia. But after using the SE for a only 1 day I have found out how smart the Joystick is... Other than that the menues are very similar in functionality! |

I'm totally stupified everytime I get a nokia in my hands. One strange thing is that it doesn't hang up when you press what you think to be equivalent to "HANG UP/NO" on ericsson. It looks as if you hung up but you just returned to the menus. There are TWO buttons on each side, one for hanging up and one for navigating the menus. Eh.
I adored the 3210/6110/6150-sms-functionality. Newer ericsson-phones and SE-phones have an advantage in bigger screens (pixel-wise) and structured menus. |

The thing I used to like about the Nokia menus was that the text was always clear.
I know this won't be a popular thing to say but... the actual menus on the 68i (once you get past the first stage with the graphics) are like using an old DOS computer or something.
The text sizes are good. I have mine set to "small" because I like to know where I am in a list, but the font is crap. |
