T68 to T68i upgrade in UK |

I've been trying to get mt T68 upgraded to the T68i for a couple of weeks now, the problem i have is that Ericsson will only do it if i have the oringinal receipt, which i dont have. Does anyone know if and where i can get it done without a receipt or even if i can get the software and do it myself?

WarnerComm in Reading will send it off to their service centre contact for £10. I know it's a bit of a chore, but if you have no receipt.

Yes you can flash it yourself. You can find a ericsson client provider(the most famous one here should be logosunlimited), and with the flash file and service cable, you can flash the phone by yourself... |

Ok does anyone have any more specfic links to where i can get the ericsson client and the flash file?, failing that i'll have to send it away

Take your phones to carphone warehouse they will do the upgrade for free.
They need your handset for 24 hours. |

Car phone warehouse will invalidate your warranty coz they're not an official service centre, if you're down south you can get it done at next communications in southampton for free without a receipt but they need your phone overnight
