I've just bought a w800i but I notice I cannot transfer MP3 without using the software DISC2PHONE, is this correct? I'd like to use the memory stick plugged directly yo usb 2.0 port and tranfer the files by dragging them on the memory, but doing like that they are not recognised and I got message saying I shound use the proper software but it take ages to copy a couple of albums, any tipsm suggestions?
Thanks!

Check your firmware. You probably stiil got the firmware with the transfer BUG. You can upgrade through SEUS. (See other topics)
Make sure you put the music files in a folder with the name MP3 or Music otherwise the phone won't find them.

You don't need Disc2Phone if you're already using another software to rip your cds to mp3.

I'm copying my album folders using the Explorer.

I know what's wrong when you're copying.
The file structure must be like this:
MP3\Artist name\Album name\Track.mp3

MP3\Track.mp3 or MP3\Artist name\Track.mp3 will NOT be played and that "proper software" message will be shown.
