I got my HBH-30 last night, and had it setup and working in about 5 minutes, but when I turned it on this morning it wasn't working - when I press the call button the phone didn't notice.

I deleted the pairing by reseting the headset and deleting the setting from my T68i but now I can't get them to pair up again!

The headset flashes red/green, but the phone can't detect it ("No headsets found").

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Update...

Spoke to SE Customer Support (got through first time, which was a pleasant surprise).

They say the headset is faulty and that I have to arranage a replacement with the supplier (SE online shop!)

Same problem here. I think I need to get a replacement but my headset was bought from a FirstMobile store in Singapore!

I found that it was partly me doing it wrong as well!

If you swicth the phone on you have to leave it for about 30 seconds before the headset can talk to the handset via BT.

There must be something wrong with my phone, I paired it without a hitch using a different T68i but it wouldn't pair with my T68(i).

@chucky egg, what's your phone model? Is it a converted T68m or an original T68i? Mine is a converted T68m. I'm also suspecting that this bluetooth bug only affects converted models.

How do you find the HBH-30 for comfort? I'm keen for cable-free hands-free but am put off at the thought of hanging a headset on my face.

@Pran - Mine is an original T68i (not an upgrade) and firmware version R2E006 and is exactly the same!

@Peppermint - I find it really comfortable, almost to the point of not noticing it.

I have checked the FAQ and found out how to find out what software I am running (I am having this same connection problem), but I have to say I don't understand.

Can anyone explain, in simple terms (I am blonde!!), how to show what software version I have on my T68i
