W900, SE's big mistake |

I'm a W900 owner since december 2005.
Besides having software problems and bugs and not having any worthy update, a big question can be asked:
why did SE use an Nvidia accelator?
Haven't found any game made for W900, most of available games use neither 3D nor the horizontal display.
It's really a shame, not pushing/helping publishers to create games for W900, especially when having Sony's great gaming experience (and PSP now)
What do you think?
Thanks |

Your right chap... It was sort of how I felt after getting my P900 all those years ago when v-Rally was plastered all over he press and then finding out that there was never another game made like it.

Remember the video acceralator when you record video clips at QVGA
and when you play java games smootly than any phone ever made and when seeing video at QVGA

@sambouka
The one of the main reasons why they used the NVIDEA card is so you can get good video recording quality and yes the playback would be better too.
Hope this helps
Cheers

well except for the occasionally disappearing activity menu which just requires a reboot, my W900 works flawlessly. maybe it's the luck of the draw.
i don't play games so i can't really say anything about that. but video quality is excellent.
when the firmware update comes i'll gladly upgrade but it's not an urgent thing for me. i'm very happy with mine.

I can point you more than 20 java 3d games on the market...most have s700 version that should work great on w900
And i can point you 3 that play on landscape mode, at least, and also there´s the special opera mini version that runs on landscape

You always could buy a S60 powered cell and get free, hi-quality games, software etc. (how about 2000 not 20) - and NOT sh!tty java ones. Oh yes, the annoying 'freezing' problem will vanish too Greetings from South Africa. Mario.
