Hi, I am thinking about buying a v600i - just wondered how many pictures can you fit in the limited memory? If it is about 40+ - with nout else on the thing - then i will buy- seeing as the camera is just for quick snaps - i got a camera for pics of anything else! Cheers!

25MB divided by .5MB (most pictures will be this size or smaller) = 50 pictures, so you should definitely have enough room for what you want.

They say that the memory on the K600 and K608i are different by 1MB (31 and 32) . . . I am not certain on this as my cousin just informed me Not to make the memory HIT it's brink, I always see to it that I DELETE the images already been sent or uploaded. I get an average size of about 200-350 KB for every pic I shoot with the cam (Large Size). [addsig]

@awave - I am very sure that you will like it mate, as I am going to get the K608i later . . . (me already have the K600i), I am more keen in getting 3G fones right now The K6 series are the cheapest 3G fones at my end too), regardless of the fone's 'other' features and all . . . just plain 3G, besides, it's 1.3MP cam will suffice in getting images, special outdoors! Good Luck! [addsig]

You remember, sonyEricsson doesn't have their way to compressing pictures and videos so, don't be disappointed if I say that 30MB can't take more than 60pictures. Are you satisfied now? Thanks [addsig]

The pictures you get with the k600 are on average between 150k and 250k; if I recall well on the k600 we have here you can easily fit 250 pictures on it, maybe even more. I have 51 pictures here and they take 9,39MB.

The 1.3mpx camera does a fair job, especially outside. A lot of the pictures look ok on 10*15cm prints. If I say ok consider that a judgement from a very critical photographer. I think they are worth printing.

You do not really notice the 3G aspect on the phone, except for a 'video call' button and the extra possibilities for data connection. The interface is almost identical to the k750.

Nice phone with crisp screen. Looks special and ! has the blinkin' led on top
