T68i vs T300 scrolling menus |

Hi,
Does anybody know if the speed of scrolling the menus has increased on the T300 comparing to the T68i?
My co-worker has a T68i and he complains about the slow scrolling in for examples the phone book or searching a contact.
He used to have a Nokia before, and says that the Nokia was a lot faster...

Hellmanen, you got your T300 already?? Which colour?? Do you think sony ericsson will release more colour cover other than those 3?? How's the games.........impressive?? Is the polyphonic ringtone loud and nice???? |

The T300 is out in some European countries, for example Sweden where I live. I went to my local phone shop and bought a Sony Ericsson T300 yesterday.
I really like it this far, it looks nice (I have a green one), the menus are fast, the screen is sharp and the polyphonic ringtones are very cool (but not very loud).
Among the papers that came with the phone there was a paper with information about accessories, among them some faceplates. But I don't know when they will be available.
The games are fun, especially "Minigolf".

What are the accessories of the T300? Does it have a data cable to connect to your pc like the T68i? etc... ;-)

Got myself a green one =) Like the games but i havent been able to download new ones yet (sh*tty comviq cr*p *#¤!) Love the polyphonic ringtones!! ...and cause its midis there is a lot on the web to download =) There will probably be alota faceplates for the T300 but not from SE.... |

T300 uses the same data cables as other SE phones.
I have a serial cable (DRS-11), but I have not managed to connect my T300. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to wait until SE releases a new version of MPM?

T300 had polyphonic spk, sound like 3D. onme new feature for all mobile future. Joystick is a bit low the T68, i find it not so easy to use, especially when you are in a hurry to search.
other then that it has the same color screen as T68, with is only 200+ color but other makers is coming out with 4000+ color LCD.
i think it pass for a low end all rounder. |

I got the T300 yesterday too!
Its great, images do it little justice, I think the simplicity of the design is great - love it!
The cover on the pic is the green cover, but the green only shows in some angles, very nice!
The Polyphonetic tones are Superb, I especially like the one selected on the pic "Happy here" - Its the one from the SE T68i commercial!
The standard games are cool, Erix, Alien Scum, Black Deal and Minigolf (great) ...
The menus are fast and the overall speed is also fast!
The standard themes has also been revised from T68i's - they are much nicer now.
I am a new SE user, and the joystick is a stroke of genius, its so easy to navigate, and once you learn the may shortcuts and define some yourself its very fast to navigate...
I love this phone... no other phone comes near it, except T68i of course!
The T300 game site mophun.com is already living up with 3-5 complete new games on the forums... and about 10 "official" games on the website. These forums will be PACKED with sweet games once the phone gets released in more countries! |
