This dust problem is getting on my nerves. It is realy bad built by SE.

I have to take apart the phone nearly every week to remove dust from the screen.

Do you have this problem?
How long have you had the phone?

Maybe some of you don't care about the black dots that the dust makes on the screen...

Dust will get into any phones LCD, it doesnt matter how well it is made.

The only way to stop it is to use either a sealed screen (where the case is glued to the screen and is completely airtight), dont bother using a case over the screen (like touchscreen devices, you can simply wipe dust off), or use an anti-static case.

I have 2 bits of dust in my K750i's screen. I got the phone in May last year.

Why so little dust ? i look after my phone and keep it in a full body anti-static dust case.

None under my W800s. And none under any of my other phones, ever.

No dust under my screen. Like etaab, I look after my phone. Keep it in a case as often as possoble, try not to pocket it uncased, etc. However my bro-in-law who doesn't use a case at all, still has no dust under his screen (a k750 also).

My impression is that the K750 generally has a well sealed screen. Some handset's seals are better than others.

it only happens to phones cuz there is no foam layer around the screen in the inside of the from face plate. phones that have that foam layers will not get any dust in the screen. unless u took it apart and got some dust there by accident.

mines 6 months old... havent got any bit of dust in there... i can tell because of the ultraclear screen protector from brando. id check my screen, go against the light and see no spec of dust... didnt use any dust protecting silicone case. no crystal case whatsoever... just leather holster and a comfy phone holder..

still satisfied up to know with SE K750... no quams...

I have had my W800i since August 2005 and have no dust at all under its screen.
I think the thing like dust will not entering/inserting the LCD if the casing of W800i never took apart and I will not take apart my W800i by myself, forever.

I've had my K750 since the beginning of September last year. NO dust under my screen, none! I don't use ANY cases, no screen protector, my jeans' pockets being the phone's only protector

Have my W800i since october and I use no protected cover or whatever. (I used the W800i krusell protected case for a while, but then all the beaty off the phone is gone) There r some tiny little dust spots under the screen but I don't mind. I don't carry a phone around as it were a jewel but I use it in a normal respectfull way. In normal conditions you can't even see the dust, but when you look at the screen in full sunlight it becomes visible.

I have had my w800i since December of '05.

It has lived every day in my front pocket, no cover, with all those bits of pocket lint and stuff, and no dust under the screen at all that I can see.

W800's are sealed quite well from what I've seen with mine.
