so i dropped it down the toilet accidently of course, so i qickly grabbed it out.
i thought to myself Great thats £120- down the drain.
so as soon as i got home i got my hairdryer on to dry it up. after an hour i switched it on, and it wasnt functioning properly, very slow and screen was white.
so i decided to put it on the radiator for 4 and half hours
switched it on and it was working as normal.
i can make calls, text, listen to mp3 files on speaker, take video clips and photos, i can bluetooth, and i can still transfer pic to my pc!

only prob is though, when i do take photos it shows weird watermarks on the screen, but when i transfer the file to my pc, it comes out as normal

how cool is that!

You are lucky mate. My Nokia 7250 couldnt tolerate some rain drops and i had to sell it away at about 10% of its original price.

technically you can get rid of the marks on the screen , as you can open up the lcd screen, behind the glass there are serveral sheets of film/mirror/paper, dirt on this causes the water marks. not an idea if you are a beginner mind.

You are lucky it wasn't a public toilet.

Lol funny you start this thread, I dropped my work Nokia 6230i phone down the toilet in a drunken rage last night, im yet to tell work because im assuming that its going to work again.

At least I hope so, this thread as boosted me with confidence that in a day or two it will. It’s in bits on my table drying off atm.

Cheers

make sure you dont put the battery in the phone untill it is completely dry, try testing the battery in another phone first to make sure it works, the battery will probably not charge in your phone now.

if you put the battery in the phone when it is wet, it will fry the board (theoretically)- basically dirt will build up on contacts and cause short circuits. the best thing you can do is leave it for a day or tw0, try opening it up perhaps?

your battery might well be flat, do you have a voltmeter?

Same thing happened to my wifes K508; my son got hold of it & dropped it down the pan while she was cleaning the bathroom
It's been sitting on the rad in bits for 2 days, I haven't plucked up the courage to turn it on yet!
