I've not had this phone long (2 weeks maybe) and i'm getting a fair bit of grief from it.

First of all, all my games (mostly the demos that came with the phone) were mysteriously deleted. No idea why, noone had access to my phone accept me.

Secondly, any movie file i put onto my phone over 50 meg, be it 3gp or mp4 pauses every 3 seconds odd. It's only brief pauses, but enough to put off watching. This is using phone memory, i don't own a memory stick.

Third (and by far the biggest problem) i can no longer open my "games" or "applications" folders. The memory status shows 0 bytes for both folders. I tried downloading a free game via wap, but i get errors straight after selecting the "games" folder to save to.

I'm on a uk, white w900i with vodafone. I haven't changed the phone in anyway (unlocking, flashing etc) just straight out of the box.

Just wondering if my phone is faulty or if these are common problems.

that sucks

the video issue may be due to that you are playing from your phone memory/or to high bitrate in the videos.

the games beeing deleted, no idea.

have you tried a master-reset? (this may delete some games that your service provider added)

i think you should take it back to the vodastore.

I finally decided to go for the master reset.

Everything is working as normal again and fortunately i hadn't got too much custom content on the phone.

I'm sure the error had something to do with Doom RPG crashing the phone. Bit of a shame, looked like a nice little game.

The video issue is a bit of a pain like i say but not overly concerning. It just means i can't put tv show episodes in the highest quality. I've settled on 320x240 res, 256bit rate, 3gp file. Still really good quality, just bugs me a little i can't go higher (or mp4 format as files are generally too large).

Still, i do like the phone believe it or not and i'm still pretty happy with my choice
