BOOBS - w800i from other countries? |

I recently purchased a w800i off of ebay but it has not come in yet. Someone else who bought the same phone from the same seller has told me that he is having trouble getting the internet to work on the phone using T-mobile. When he contacted Sony Ericsson about it, he says that they explained to him that they have w800is made it two places- Malyasia and Japan(Japan for U.S and Malaysia for Russia and Asia) . Apprently he has the Malayasian one, and Sony Ericsson tells him that he needs to send it in to be changed so that it 's internet will be compatible in the U.S. Is this true? I don' t think that he got the w800c, am I right?
Any help would be great. Thanks a lot!!!

I bought my W800i new from SE (United States) last December, and it is made in Malaysia, not Japan. You are getting incorrect information.
I have no trouble with my T mobile internet.
