I don't actually have a T68 at the moment but hopefully soon will have. However, despite downloading the user guide from the Ericsson website I can't work out one simple thing (and this is probably a daft question):
Does the Alarm Clock function work on the T68 even if the phone is switched off? I know some phones won't do it and having it on all night drains the battery.

Talking of battery life, what's the longest people have had the phone on standby between charges? My current phone (Nokia 8210)will usually last 48hours or so.

Yes, the phone can be shutted down, and you have two type of alarm.
one is the normal.
the other is an recurrent alarm.
In which you can choose which days it has to work

Thanks for your replies.
One more question about the alarm however, does it have a snooze function ? ie. if the alarm goes off in the morning can I switch it off temporarily such that it comes back on again after a number of minutes ? (and if so how long does it take to come back on?).
I use my phone as an alarm when I'm staying in hotels and being really lazy, I find the snooze function really useful!

When your alarm rings you have the choice between stop it or no, if you choose to don't stop it the snooze goes on but I don't know how much time it goes

The snooze function give you 5 minutes between each alarm.

About the alarm when your phone is switched off: If it is an alarm generated by a task in your calendar you have to choose either the alarm will go on or not when switched off. Of cource you'll do this only once.

About battery life / standby time: The phone still beeps to long before the battery is totally empty, even this is better in the latest sw version.

What is wrong with my T68 when it turns off, and the batteryindicator shows \"low battery\". It was fully charged. It often happens when I use gprs-wap, mp3-player or my HBH-15. The phone turn off, and when I turn it on it has no battery. Rune.tou@netcom.no

The snooze function gives u exactly 9mn before the alarm rings again and surely the usage of an accessory will reduce the battery life. U find it strange?!?

I've tried setting the alarm on my phone without the SIM and the shut-off. And still it woke me up So it can turn on by itself even if it doesn't have the sim
