What is the difference with this unit aside from its color? Does this color has something special in its software etc.?

nothing, its the same, but the black cover rules, got one aswell, the best colour imo

i let it changed the cover at nokia, actually its the second time i have the black cover on it, had already 3 times 6680. not sure, if its sold in every countries, it costs here ( austria 30 euro ) frontcover and the 2 aparts of the back cover.

of cousre, i take only oroginal ones ( there are 3 covers for 6680, blue, bronse one and the black )

actually its not that hard, but i usually let it done by the experts, my service friend at nokia did it for me both times

donnow how to do it, i never watched when he changed the covers. as i mentioned, its not tat big deal, gonna ask him to show me the tools, then i post some pix of it asap

Didn't know that the black covers sold as an accessory, in Sweden they are exlusive to the operator 3, but they do wonders to 6680s dull design, could almost think of one instead of my N70, i am so tired of it's usless keypad and creaking camera cover.....

Unfortunaly there aren't that many Nokia service centers in Sweden, and none where i live so i dont know actually, and regular mobilephone shops has a relatively bad assortment of accessories and as the 6680 is a rather uncommon model here in Sweden i think that you have to search really hard tho find replacement housings for it, but i can be wrong...

might be, that nokia doesnt sell that black cover in every countries. as mentioned before, i payed 30 euro ( withou keypad ), think its a good price, that fone is worth for that.
