Hi Guys,
Did anybody manage to connect a SE BT headset to a laptop(other than sony) or PDA ?
I tryed mine with a Toshiba laptop M200 and with HP 4700 without success !
I alway have the same message , "Unable to detect service". Looks that SE BT headset is set to connection only to VIAO laptop or SE mobile phone.
Am I right ?
Thanks |

I have a HBH 600 and I think u can only connect it to mobile phones, SE mobile phones that is.I've tried to connect it to a Motorola and a Nokia and it doesn't work.Didn't try it with a laptop cuz i know it's futile. U need to look it up in ur notebook's manual to see if ur laptop supports BT headsets.

It deepened of BT headset. I have HBH-PV700 and you can connected to almost every phone on market. Maybe that is also possible with laptop but I didn't try it. |

You should be able to connect your headset. Check if your Toshiba bluetooth supports audio profiles.
I've got Toshiba bluetooth dongle on my PC and i'm able to connect virtually any headset. |

Thanks to all for your feedback,
Yesterday evening it tryed again, and it's work now with the PDA(HP Ipaq 4700). In fact, we have to specify on the HP BT search engine that we are looking for a headset device. If we do not filter by device type the PDA can't find the specify service.
But still not working with my Tosh M200 laptop. Even i reinstall the last BT driver. I still not able to find the Headset service. In fact the Tosh BT interface don't allow to filter the search by device type.
FYI:Skype v2 on PDA + HBH-608, work fine, even when the pda is at more than 10m from the headset (have some crack noise but it's ok). |

I've been using my HBH-600 with at least two laptops, one had MSI USB bluetooth donlge, the other one had built-in bluetooth. Listened to music and used MSN, no problems. |
