They need to develop the ability for CDMA phones to have sim cards, maybe then more networks might use the technology.

@brix, it's there already. The handsets on the CDMA network by an operator here in China have identification module called UIM used.

CDMA phone has the ability to use that kind of SIM Card in GSM called RUIM (don't remember what it stands for).
