Hi all, I'm having serious problems with my W900i I first noticed this a few days after I bought the phone I was listening to the walkman and I pressed 'more' to go to the equalizer when the phone suddenly crashed when I then tried to put the phone back on I would just get a white screen. I left the phone for a while and put it back on and after a short period it came back on, but I noticed the sounds and themes which came with the phone, apart from the default theme and two sounds, had all been deleted the mp3s which I put on the phone were still there the pictures I took were still there.
I wasn't too bothered Untill last week when I was listening to the walkman I accidentally pressed the browser button and the phone again crashed but this time when it came back the applications and games were gone.
I really liked the application "facewarp" is there any way I can get it back?
If I send it to Sony Ericsson for a firmware Update will these applications and games come back? |

SEUS II won't help in the slightest as there's no firmware available for the W900 for download at this stage. Existing firmwares are well known to have "issues" so hopefully an update soon will alleviate these problems.

Thanks for your replies but I think the problem is with the firmware, now a message appears saying failed whenever I try to open the phonebook or the Walkman or browser even though it opens whatever I’m trying to open.
I rang Sony Ericsson and they said I will need to send it to the repair centre to have the firmware rebuilt I think. |
