Any way to turn off the little noise the camera makes when taking a picture or the beep we get when it starts video taping?

There is some ways, you can search the forum in Esato for camera shutter. Many of the solutions might not work on your phone though.

But first you have to check if it is legal in your country to turn the shutter off, else you can get in trouble.

Not that u have to answer, but why do you want to shut the sound off?

Well, personally, i really dislike the shutter sound.. so fake and irritating, but thats just me. Often turning phone on silent will do it.. but you dont mention what phone you have, so i cant really be sure.

On all my previous cell phones there has been no noise when the picture has been taken. So i figured that was standard. Secondly, I find it annyoing to always have my phone beeping or making noises to tell me its just done something. I can tell that a pic has been taken just by looking at the phone, you know what I mean.

Also, I;m not sure what you mean by legal in my country to turn the shutter off. Its my business if my toys make noise or not, really.

No because perverts can take snapshots of panties whitout that, that's why on some countries there is a shutter sound no matter how many times you will update the firmware with SEUS it won't change.

To get rid of it you have to change the firmware from a country that allows to make it silent, davinci has them.

That's true in some places it's illegal to take pics with the phone unless you seem like you are actually taking some decent pics and not just dirty pics. So phones made specifically for those countries lack the ability to turn of the shutter sounds. [addsig]
