Can you believe it, the most sort after accessory of all time is finally here but waiting lists are so long. Oh well I cant wait to get mine in the morning. I will be posting my views here after I have tested it, so if you have any questions that you want answering or you just want to hear a general review then come back!!!

Also if you havent got your order down or missed out on the first batch then I have seen one on EBAY. If you want to have a look then here's the link:

Yay, got it just before leaving for work! First impressions - nice! Smaller than I was expecting. The finish of the silver bit is slightly disappointing on this particular one, but it's not the end of the world. Fits comfortably in my ear, although I haven't quite mastered getting it in smoothly yet.

And it's sitting there now in its little charger just waiting to go. Only annoying thing is the battery on my phone's nearly flat. D'OH!

Tried taking some photos briefly, but it's bloody difficult trying to get a good photo of your own ear

I'll post some tonight or tomorrow morning.

Finally I have just picked mine up now, bloody expansys have delivered it to the work address!!!! They never get anything right this os the thrid order of mine that they have got wrong.

Anyway my first impression was wow wow wow, its just what I wanted, no more big boom mic that just makes you look silly. Anyway will be testing it over lunch and will post some pictures of it on this afternoon!!!

The big test for me is whether it eliminates the background noise when I will be driving!!!

Great first impressions well done Nextlink and Jan

Just finished charging, started playing!

Took it out of the charger and it was completely dead. Had to go through the reset procedure, then it came to life. The lights are lovely and bright on it, much brighter than in the animation!

Pairing was absolutely fine, but initiating a call from the phone, it won't divert it to the BS - it just uses the phone's mic and speaker as normal. Answering a call works fine. The quality is a litle tinny, but quiet acceptable. My friend who called me said he could hear quite a lot of background noise - keyboards in the office etc. and it wasn't quite as good as a normal phone, but still very good nevertheless. So, on the whole, I'm delighted with it apart from the paint quality

PS I've already been told I look like Spock wearing it

Pics later.

As promised, here are links to a few photos. Sorry about the quality - it's me rather than the camera

If you shake your head will it come off? Does it feel real secure? I drive a noisy truck, do you think I will be able to hear the other people I am talking to or will they be able to hear me?

Thanks,

it wont come out no matter how hard you shake your head... it really sits tight (but still not uncomfortably)

Hi,

Beren playing with mine for a while now and it is unreal (when it works). it feels so sercue in your ear and it will never fall out whether you do to it.

My problem is that once I have paired it up and put the passcode in it only works for the first call and then I have to delete the pairing reset it and then paied it up agian (after each call I have to go therough this). This cant be right. After the first call it says blutooth connection failed and it just uses the phones mic and ear piece.

Does anyone elses do this!! Please help it is really annoying I have a T68i

Thanks

Thanks for the nice words guys Nextlink are reading the forum too.

Voice-commands work okay,...these are always hard to get to work the right way,..but they work with BS

I use mine with T68i too,..works fine.

The bluetooth-function in phone needs to be in ON-mode.
When not using the BS,..then switch the phone to OFF-mode.

Another thing :

Bluespoon (and other BT-headsets) work best, if you do this :

First turn bluetooth on in phone,..then turn headset on.

When shutting off :
First turn headset off, then phone.

The only headset that will work in "automatic" mode is SE headsets, when using SE-phones,..so when using other headsets, theres no need to turn the phones automatic mode on.

ipXpert: I will be surprised if the Bluespoon would perform well in a noisy environment. Mine doesn't and picks a lot of background noises.
