Correct me if i am wrong but i dont see any quick or easy way of reporting bad posts and getting them erased on Esato. where i moderate there are "report bad post" buttons attached to each post whereby mods are alerted to such!!

you are welcome to send a PM to a mod... the end result is the same

Absolutely, but there are different ways to achieve an end result, and some are quicker and easier than others!!

@mweb6161, believe me... if you send me a PM, for example, I will see it within 30 minutes during 3/4 of most days and depending on its importance I will act on it immediately otherwise it will be prioritised on a to-do list I keep
however, I do understand that a one button click on a post would be a simpler way for a member to bring it to attention than having to create a PM, especially when the member may not know who to send it to

Credit where credit's due, masseur is always on the ball. Esato has a lot to owe to the big man.

No doubt about the mods always bing on the alert...but this bad post reporting button does sound like a useful addition..considering that a lot of new members join each day and may not necessarily know who to pm....this may make the mods job a bit easier

yeah but there are enough of "old" members active to do it on their behalf

I have my doubts to a "Bad Post" button.
It would be too easy to report something to us, whilst now you have to think twice before doing so.
Off course this might fall both ways, but I see piles of "Ups... Sorry! didn't mean to report it. Pressed the button by mistake."-PMs comming with a Bad Post feature.

There could always be a confirmation page after pressing the button.

Yes, but still; I'm not sure that is the way to go.

Maybe it could be implemented on a trial basis for a couple of weeks...
