While a firmware update error, I was returned to the main page of SEUS II (2.2.13.7b) application. Now SEUS keeps directing me to a page where it says, "there are no new updates".
To make matters worse, my k750i WOULD NOT TURN ON! I have tried my best buying an account from the DaVinciTeam.com with credit card, but Paypal does not recognize the country I am living in right now - Bangladesh.
10 Euros is a very small sum for reviving a cellphone that is literally in coma - I don't want to lose my cell just cause I, and anyone I know, didn't have a paypal account lol. I don't even know how much of battery is still left but it was 100% charged during the firmware update process (after the update error, battery does not charge).
The old SEUS, as far as I remember, had a 'recovery mode' which the new application (SEUS II) does not offer. Previously, I encountered the same problem on the old SEUS, but survived, thanks to the recovery mode then.
However, this time the odds were against me as I sealed my fate by not realizing /noticing that there is not a 'recovery mode' offered in the new SEUS. I know some of you might suggest submitting my cell to a nearby SE provider but as much as I respect the idea, there are none in this country.
The reason why I bothered to type this up was only to let some of you learn from my mistakes - be happy with what you have lol! Updates will come all the time but update only if it's worth it, cause, everytime you take the bold step (update) to do so, you risk it (your cell phone).
Perhaps SE devised it in such a way so there are complains and return of cell phones (for repair, absent of warranties) earning them extra. It's all about business.
