3 years ago I bought my T610, a wonderful phone at that time with everything you could imagine. The designer Erik Ahlgren (Swedish) did a excellent job and the phone became a best seller. I did actually wait for my phone a couple of weeks because they had sold them all.

My next phone, the K700i, this time designed by Henrik Jensfelt (Swedish) was the best phone I’ve ever owned. New interface, lovely design and just a perfect phone!

Now, a owner of a K750i I’m really sad to say that the design of the phone is crap! Plastic instead of aluminium and absolutely nothing special about it. Both the T610 and the K700i had a soul, the K750i nothing. It has some really good technologies in it but that's not good enough

The same about the P series, sure the P800 wasn't the prettiest phone I've seen but the P900 and P910 is both very good designed phones. They look very professional and expansive. The front of the P990 is good but on the back it's another story, seriously, what are they thinking about? it looks terrible! The round thing for the camera, really does it look good??

What i've seen of the K800 it's better then the K750 but still not close to the K700i!

But I'm still a Sony Ericsson fan, even tough it maybe will change if they don't realise that design and quality is essential for a good phone as much as the technologies!

Really sorry but i really do not agree with you. I think the phones are designed well and are quite strong and they are not terrible.

I'm with PeterKay on this one, I absolutely love the look of the k750i, sure its quite a bit different than the k700, and yea plastic instead of aluminium, but its a very smart looking phone. Its a MUCH better design than the k700 in my opinion. Gotta love how much the back of the k750 actually looks like a camera, have had many people think it is a camera until I tell them its my phone and they start rambling about technology of today, lol.. and some dude in my uni class thinks im rich cos I own one haha.

The k800i I would have to say looks the best yet, im not a huge fan of the slider design at the back, but I reckon the front looks really good with the large screen. I cant wait to get my hands on one!

I guess in time the look/feel and 'soul' of the k750/k800 will grow on you

Hehe, yeah I hope so because as Swedish, the only choice is a Sony Ericsson even tough I would like to see some more Ericsson and Swedish design in the phones. I really like the technologies the Japs have put into the phones but in my point of view, don't they have any sense for design...

I have realized this is a thing that split a lot of people, and maybe Sony Ericsson have chosen the right side, just have to wait and see if the company will start selling more phones

hey guys, what the heck, K700 IS NOT aluminium! it's also plastic. the whole of it. Besides, there is a silver version of k750, don't forget that, and this is the one that I own!
everyone has the right of a personal opinion and personal taste, and as I've owned both phones (k700 & k750) I DEFINITELY go for K750's design. I still tremble in my sleep when I remember of k700's rubbery keys...

Here in Holland i was the first one to get K700i.. in my city.. i was standing there at the desk.. when employ brought me my precios.. he took it out of the pakage.. just by luck above the desk .. ther was a spotlight.. pointing directly on to K700.. it was amazing to see it for the first time.. so i kinda agree with you on the design part of k700..

But still k750.. i own one now.. is also .. pritty good design.. i speacialy love the slide on the back.. the silver and black contrast is a real beauty..

out of the new phones.. i think most design'nish would be W950.. because of completly flat keyboard.. and touchscreen..

whahahah ... you kiddin me right..?:P

well it looks like alumi but it defenely doesn't feel like one.. after 8 months i had to put a piece of paper into to the back side.. so it wont make craking sounds.. so that was a kinda of down side of k700..

i agreen on silver k750.. that's just.. shitty...i'd rather go and by siemens than buy silver k750..

Because it's aluminium, but if you look on the inside it's put on plastic, but the outer layer is aluminium, I’m very sure about that, because when you scratch it, it shines in the scratch, the same story with the T610’s back

No don't think so, that was plastic but had a gray color. But on the back it's aluminium, or something similar, the same thing about the T610
