Hey all,

I'm pretty sure everyone who has or had the k750i encoutered a joystick problem, i.e. u move it to any direction, and it wont move, u have to push it really hard. Any ideas one how i can fix it. Maybe unscrewing the phone apart or sumthing.

thnx

This happens to all SE joystick phones. I cant use T9 on my k700 anymore cos the joystick crapped itself in the down direction. Cleaning the 'dust' is of no use.

The joystick is one of the biggest problems with SE mobile. The other one is after a certain time, the charger interface gets dusty and charging gets screwed up. The same issue on the handsfree also. Is there any remedy for this.

And is there any way you could open up the k700i to clean the bottom part of the joystick.

yeah, wow

i rarely have a problem with the down direction, what i do is go to the service test for keyboard, and repeatedly press down until the correct sign shows up for each time i press downward. then, i exit the service menu and the joystick response is ok already

here's a suggestion. lock your phone and rotate the joystick several times through 360 degree circles. do this with a bit of force and try using joystick now. my k700i is 14 months old and mine works perfectly. cheers

Mine K750i has been having these issues since day 2:

- Joystick right - no go
- Joystick up - no go
- Play button - no go
- Volume up and down - no go
- Phone connector - works if the phone is on its top down

Today I'm shipping it the second time to SE. If that doesn't work, will be sending some angry letters to magazines.

=o/

Too bad, my T68i worked as a charm!
