Hi guys,

Why do I get a 'no calls permitted' icon on my phone when I'm using Smart's 3G? I cannot make calls and always end up putting my phone back to the GSM network. Does anybody have the same problem?
Peace out!

no such problems on my W900. you could try reinstalling your data account settings.

The 3G in term of implementation of reception point are starting really right now. If it suppose to be like the gsm system at the begining, you will havet to check if the region where you are is covered by the network provider you have.

check your signal strength. chances are if you're not in a major city you won't have decent access to a 3g network.

although the phone will identify that a 3g signal is present, you won't be able to access it successfully unless you consistenly have at least 2 signal bars.
