Finally, the time is coming. The new and gorgeous K800-K790 is on the way to the market. Are we so close to say goodbye to K750-just as we did to T610 and K700? I'm sure within the next 2-3 months when K800 is officially released-people will forget the hissing sound, the corrupted theme, the blurry night shot and parameter incorrect..everyone will be busy with the new phone.. agreed, ive had t68i, t300, t610, k700i, k750.

Every single joystick has gone naff.

'You can clean it, you can look after it better blah blah blah...'

They've had their chance, there's no need for a joystick.

I agree. However I also feel that a perfectly working joystick is better than a perfectly working d-pad. Lighter to press. The main thing people seem to have against the joystick is dust hindering it's responsivness - which is every part a valid reason of course, and the one main anoying thing about my own K750i and indeed my K700i.

I do however wish that it were possible to write an sms without having to use the joystick to scroll through all the words, it makes accurate (and speedy) text messaging very difficult. What is the '0' key doing these days anyhow?

It has been written that SE have reviewed the joystick and refined the dust protection in the K800, but only time will tell!

Joystick or not, this phone's got all I need. I also like the K790 - K800 idea, giving UMTS to those who want it, and EDGE to others; on the same phone! Pretty smart.

is making it really hard to pick a phone this year. So many great phones all coming out at the same time

i'd rather have 1 phone announced & released immediately thereafter than 6 announced & 9 pending releases.

Im not going to get the new phone. Im love my K750 it works fine the joystick stops a few times but other than that is class. No point getting a new phone that has a better camera plus a few lil other things that dont really make me need to change. The photos i get with my 750 are amazing the 790 will be better obviously but i would rather wait till the phone after that came out and see what that has to offer. Also i just got my k750 a few months ago and i cant afford to get a new on right now. Will wait till my contract runs out next october then get a new phone. ( Saying that i will probly get a new one in the summer)

Pople will still talk about the k750 as everyone will be comparing them and saying as lots of people will still ahve them i cant see the discussions on them dissapearing that fast.
