The official answer is "no you can't" however I remember a post on here a while ago that explained how you can do it. It didn't get much of a response so I'm not sure if it does work or not, I'll try to dig it out for you if I can
Can you not download the game to your PC and transfer it to the 'other' folder on your phone and then install it, rather than downloading it directly via wap? that way, you'll still have a copy of it on your PC?
I know lots of sites don't let you do that, but some do so it's worth looking into.

Can't you simply transfer the file from your mobile to your computer via USB? That is, if you a have USB (or similar) compatible phone.. |

I was also wondering the same thing last night. I'd appreciate it if you could get that page for us, Cycovision, cheers.

You can't just copy the original .jar file to your PC because it gets deleted once it's been installed. This is, of course, a deliberate ploy to prevent you from grabbing the .jar file and giving it away for free or selling it to others!
I've PM'd masseur, he's the master of the Esato search so if anyone can find it, he can!

Well, the closest i can think of is to use a symbian phone. Then when they send you the jar file, accept it, but when prompted to install, select "no". If i'm not wrong, the file will be stored in one of the folders, so you can send a copy to your pc.

Yeah, it's possible in symbian but this guy figured out a way to get all of files back out of a non symbian phone and I can't for the life of me remember how he did it
I'm working on it though

Right, Masseur did his magic with the Esato search and found exactly the thread I was thinking of but unfortunately, I'd forgotten exactly what the process does
It still requires you to save the .jar file somewhere else before you install it, just like on a Symbian device, so once it's installed you've pretty much had it by the looks of things.

don't really like to dig up old threads but just remembered that MyPhoneExplorer does this. Check the stickies in the Software forum.
