Hello.
I was wondering, is there any java application for my T630 that will play 3GP files?
I have some free memory (about 100 kbs, but I can free about 100kb more if needed) and I was wondering if I could play videos on it.
I had two ideas of transfering the 3GP file to the phone:
1) Change the 3gp extension to something like .jpg so the phone would accept the file (it probably rejects files that the phone doesnt know what their extension do)
2) Attach the 3gp file direcly in the jar file with a program that manages archive files in windows. I dont know if T630's java version allows access to files, so attaching the file to the jar file would be a better idea.
However, I believe that this isn't possible because of T630's processor power
So, does anyone know any jar application that will play 3gp files in my T630?
I doubt that one exists, but who knows...? |

@dglmartin: Some just people love reinventing the wheel for the sake of adventure.
Why would you go through all that fuss to possible play a 10 second video clip?

no, there is no java 3gp player for T630
mostly I believe that is down to the lack of access to files, and other resources, that the java implementation has in phones prior to K700
