hi. I'm bored of my t39m and want to sand down the metal back but i prefer to do this by taking the phone apart first.

there aren't any screws! so i need to know where the clips are so i don't scratch the sides. or if tehre are screws, where they are becuase i can't see them.

thanks in advance

OK, it's been a long time but here goes:

Start by pulling out the antenna. Then, use a plastic knife and work around the phone, inserting the knife between the plastic shell and the magnesium chassis. There's one clip on the top, two on each side, and two (tricky ones) on the bottom that hug the connector: for these you have to insert the knife beween the plastic shell and the connector and pull to each side.

There are screws under the plastic shell, holding the motherboard to the chassis: these are small Torx (9?) screws.
