Here in China our number is consisted of 11 numbers which is ranged form 130******** to 139********,about in 2 mounths a new band 159******** will be on market which supports 3G.
i wonder whats your no. like,also 11numbers?

in India,the mobile numbers start with 9.all numbers are 10 digit.
Are you a chinese citizen?or u r a foreign student?we dont see much members here from china. |

Here in Venezuela operators were assigned a specific area code each, and the biggest one that uses GSM (DIGITEL TIM) was given the 412 code.
When you dial from a land phone or another operator you have to dial 0-412-XXX-XXXX (seven digit number) but if you call another cell on your same operator you just have to dial the seven digit number.

In Serbia we have 062,063,064,065 , and numbers are 6 or 7 digit. Outside Serbia you dial +3816(2,3,4,5)xxxxxxx.

we are a small county officially 10mil people so 6 digits are enough. gsm penatration is 93%
unofficially there are about 12mil people living in belgium

In South Africa we've got 10 digit numbers...082 *** ****, 083 *** ****,084 *** ****,072 *** ****,073 *** ****,076 *** ****,078 *** ****
When you call from outside the country you dial +27 and the number excluding the first digit.

in Sweden mobile numbers starts with 07 in the series of 070, 073 and 076... and followed by a 7 digit number... and for those who still uses the old NMT network in Sweden the number starts with 010 |

in Romania , all mobile numbers are 07 + 2 digit network code + 6 digit phone number . So we have : 072x, 074x, 076x, 078x, one for every mobile network:) . Alot of numbers....

In peru, mobile numbers start with 9 and have 7 digits.

in Bahrain numbers USED to all start with 9.
Then mtc vodafone came alone and Bahrain networks had to add a 3 in front of the numbers.
so now mobiles start with either a 39, 36, for 34. (they are 8 numbers long)
In Qatar, mobiles start with 5. (they are 7 numbers long)

In Brazil, we have numbers that start with: 9 (most), 8 and 7...
the area code is aways the same as the one from the city you register
your phone...that's 2 digits for it
the cel phone number consists in 8 digits...plus the area code when needed
