I am on O2 25 at the moment at £16.99 a month. Last september I was really chuffed when CPW said I could upgrade to a W800i free. That was great as the phone was less than a month old.
Now here comes the weird bit- 5 1/2 months later (yesterday) send me a leaflet telling me I can upgrade. Weird I thought so went to CPW tonight and spoke the guy there. He looked at the system and said that I can upgrade to the V3i now. So I took it.
How can they afford to give me another upgrade 5 1/2 months after giving me a W800i? I only spend £200 on this tariff a year!

I dont really use the contract except for data as they have never charged me GPRS costs.

If you didn't want the V3i I might be interested!
I'm surprised at the shortness of time before you could upgrade - I thought it was 12 months minimum before an upgrade (except for some of the higher contracts).
Sounds like someone else who doesn't get charged for GPRS too - I'm in the same boat!

@peter - Yeah . . . and I am just waiting for someone to post . . . 3 or 4 year - contracts! At my end you can pre-terminate your existing contract (to get a new one which is costly, as you will be paying 'almost' the maket value amount of the handset you took.), or OPEN another account. Though it has lots of FREE SMS/GPRS and a litlle amount FREE for calls too!
@jc - The V3i is nice pal, keep it!

And me... I've really started to like the V3s/V3i etc. since getting one to fix - I think I might even get me a V3i!

For slick and style, i personally feel motorola are definately number 1 for coming up with the goods, not only phones but bluetooth headsets too.

They don't like me. I was an affiliate for 2 weeks, gave them over 70,000 impressions and didn't get a thing off them.
In the end I thought 'screw it', and I'm still looking for something to fil my ad inventory now

Hahaha I think Vodafone like me. Got the 902 free on contract, £50 credit on my bill for buying instore and then i got another £30 off my next £35 bill. And I just sold the 902 for £150.
So i'm £260 better off for getting this contract

@peter - I totally agree with the Motorola Bluetooth Headsets mate, as I am really pleased using this pair: V3/HS820 everytime I want to use a BT headset pal . . .
