Opinions please. I have a three week old Nokia 6680 locked to Orange but really fancy the D600. Have seen these going on Ebay for about £150-160 and the 6680 is more expensive on Expansys.
Would a swop seem reasonable as mine is in an excellent condition, boxed, software, manual, Krusel case and 64Mb MMC?
Thanks
Doug

I think the D600 is worth more in terms of market value...

When you compare the ebay prices for both - D600 seems to get a bit more than your nokia . Probably because it's newer.

Hope this helps

If you can contact Orange and get the 6680 unlocked then it will be worth more or less the same as a D600

Thanks for the info. What's the cost of an unlocking nowadays? I can get a D600 from Orange as an upgrade but it will cost me, in total, £199.
Have to keep my eye out for someone who wants a trade. Could put a bit of money.

Does anyone know whether this phone can be unlocked yet? Lots of "the normal places" say they can't do it yet. Any updates?
Thanks

Been offered £60 for the 6680 which is lot less than I was hoping for. In fact, I know i can get more than that, even on eBay.
Still looking.........

6680 + cash is what someone would be looking for your ideal trade, that's if they wanted a 6680.

I think the 6680 is not that old it commands £60! And cash would be exchanged but not £135 which the guy wants.
I'll go to eBay, I have an excellent trade record on there for phones.

Only Orange can unlock the phone for you, contact them and ask for a code. WIll cost you around £15/20 but will put £40 at least on the value of the phone. Infact get it unlocked and I would be interested.

Hi miss_uk. That would have included the £150 they wanted to charge for the priviledge of upgrading three months early. The phone cost £49.
I went in to the shop today and got an upgrade charge of £50 and the phone for the original £49.99. And then I took in some crappy old phone and they gave me £50 for it so in the end, the upgrade cost me nothing! In fact, I also got a 10% discount on my pay monthly bill which is worth £25 so I nealy got it for nothing.
So much for £200....
