How to transfer videos and ringtones on W550i? |

Ok, maybe the last thread was a bit difficult. But i'll make this a lot easier. When i transfer videos and ringtones via data cable, they seem to transfer on the phone, but do not work. Any ideas on how this doesnt work?
Cheers.

Hi.
The videos as far as I know MUST be in either 3gp or mpeg4 format in order to work on the phone.
Now, about the ringtones, just read your other thread..
Try this. Instead of putting the ringtones into the ringtone folder, just put them straight into the music folder. When you've transferred them and have disconnected the phone from the computer, go to your music folder on the phone and find the ringtones. If its anything like my k750i, you can then click on 'More', scroll down to 'Manage Files' and choose 'Move to folder', select your ringtones folder, and voila.

transfer via bluetooth would have been a piece of cake.

I tried putting them into the Music folder, but it does the same thing. It doesn't work. (Cannot play song)
I'm pretty sure its the removal of the data cable. The message on the phone doesn't go away when i safely remove it...
Also, how do you change the file type from mpeg for example to 3GP if you want to put a video on?
Thanks.
