RTFM - Read The F##king manual!
You'd find it much easier and quicker, and that attitude won't get you any meaningful responses

@jdcruz - Uploading an MP3 song on your V3 will surely eat up a lot of space, as it can only hold - 5MB (all). I just took an actual test how to . . . yes, upload the 'short' sound-MP3 (via BT or download), then under settings, go to Ring-Styles, then below the Style you have chosen, say, Vibe then Ring Detail, click it, Go to: Line 1, then click - Change, then scroll down on the choices, the one you've uploaded (MP3) should be listed there. Good Luck !

@sammy - Cool down mate . . . cool down . . .
@jd - Once in a while try going around the nice features of your fone, from there you will be well equipped on how to's . . . mate! I rarely go over the manuals, actual-test will help a lot, now if something went berserk with the handset, that's the only time I resort to the manuals or worst, Service Centers Good Luck!
Sorry about that pal, you should have made it clear with the title of your THREAD . . . you should have added, V3i or V3x ! Btw, don't they have the same principle with the - V3

@JN - I'm as cool as a cucumber!
RTFM is often used in technical helpdesks and has found it's way into common language.
Is the phone the V3i rather than the original V3?

@jd - Looks like the problem lies on the very 1st step of the process pal - transferring of files to your fone's memory card Try other songs if the one/s you've chosen did not pass thru . . . have you tried transferring pics/vids etc and were able to see it How did you transfer the data, via Bluetooth? Thanks!

Is it in a recognisable format? I've tried transferring a file to a V3 that's an mp3 via Bluetooth, and it said it was an unsupported file format - even though it does take mp3s! Sometimes the DRM stops files from being transferred.
Check the memory status of the memory card - has it gone down? The files could be there but for some reason the phone isn't recognising them.
Or can you use Windows explorer to transfer the files to that folder manually?

@jd - If transferring viable, BT doesn't work, try using a memory-card-reader mate . .. I've been doing that since having my old Nokia 9210i pal, much faster and you can arrange your files by viewing the folders on your PC. Do you think that your fone has a problem here
