yes, it runs windows mobile 2003 SE which supports landscape mode

not its not very easy to use one handed.

windows mobile 5 (as in the k-jam) has made that much more one-handed as microsoft have added two soft keys to the platform and updated all the software to use those soft keys. With the soft keys together with the joypad you can do probably 95% or more of what you want without the stylus

im switchin from a w800 to a imate jam - i dunno whether i can live without buttons lol but i dont really type that many texts

texts is another matter really as even on the k-jam you need two hands if you're using the keyboard

the jam and the kjam both hand an on screen pad similar to a phone keyboard which you can use with your fingers and it offers predictive capabilities too

the soft keys make browsing and checking though emails etc very easy with one hand

im also gonna get gps and wifi on it - what are the cheapest solutions for this - hardware wise

can't tell you much about GPS as I use a Garmin Quest for personal GPS and a Garmin 2610 in the car

for wifi I used the sandisk SD wifi card in my Jam which you can get off ebay for around £30 or you can get one with 256mb memory on board (since you only have 1 SD slot) for £45-ish

that worked very well for me
