I bougth a phone off here a while back. It was a K750 with a few things up wih it.
So i took it back to o2 and they replaced it with no trouble, but now my 3rd has been sent back. Iv been told it was once on contract.
My question is can i demand a different phone if its in warrenty, they have a proof of purchase?
Do i have any legal rights?

After 28 days from original purchase date, the supplier is obliged to repair the phone. If the phone is unrepairable they are obliged to replace the phone with an identicle model or, if that is not available, to replace the phone. If the phone is older than 28 days then they are not obliged to change the phone. They might do if you ask really nicely though.

@si - Looks like you have a different case here, 3rd fone and still no luck! If you've gone this far, I guess you will have an option here to ask for a different model under the same price range, can you opt to just simply deactivate your account pal

Well the thing is, i bought it off someone who was on contract, so its not my contract account.

@si - Does the fone have a problem (what you have now)? Maybe the original owner (since it's his account) can help you here . . . if you can still find him. If the fone is in working condition (no problems) better sell it, and buy the handset you want.

Well its in for repair on the 3rd time as the bluetooth hangs and joystick is failing again.
I dont have a clue who's contract it was. I bought it off Alec on here.

@si - Looks like you really have a problem here pal .. . When your unit is done (repair), might as well dispose it - pronto! Then buy a better replacement. Good luck!
