I bought a brand new K750i on Orange PAYG. (i've been an Orange PAYG customer for 6yrs). . . The fone was setup with a new Orange sim. I've had the same number for 6yrs, so i decided to register my original number with my new fone. . . . Or do a number transfer. . .This was Wednesday 12pm. Its now Sat am, and since Wed both sims say 'inactiveSIM' . Can't use either!! :@

Best option is to phone Orange from a landline and explain your situation, it could be a cock up their end.
Also though, try both sims in another phone, just in case it's a phone fault, see if either sim works in there

I had a similar problem when I obtained a new sim card for my phone as my old sim didn't work properly in a new phone. They gave me a new sim programmed with my existing number but when I went to use the phone it came up with inactive sim. Luckily I was still at the shopping centre so I went back to the store and found out that they had accidentally disabled the new sim card as well as the old one. They then had to issue me with another new sim card which I made sure was working properly before I left the store. They also gave me $40 credit on my phone account as a gesture of goodwill. |
