Hello everyone. After 3 and a half years of 7650 I've decided to move on. After countless hours on the net and news groups, it come down to this 2 models. Either a Nokia N80 (can wait a few weeks - I am in no haste) or a I-Mate Jamin. Damn the call is close. I just can't decide. I love the N80 because it has 3G (not of much use imho thou) and I regard it as a sequel to my 7650 (of which I think a lot) . Also all the old 7650 programs I have gathered will work on the N80. (Not the new .sis ones thou) It also is smaller/lighter. On the other hand the Jamin has its own strengts. Unfortunately 3G (for what it is worth) is not one of them. I do take pictures now and then and I certainly like the bigger (2.8 in screen). Also let's not forget the Jamin is windows compatible ! (no need to comment there) I like to write short sms's without taking the cell out of my poked while in a meeting/driving etc. (can't be done with the jamin) Price is not a issue and I intend using the phone 3+ years !

Have you checked the specs. of the N80? The 2 are almost identical. The N80 is smaller :) but has a smaller screen too :(. I think this 2 models are the 'cream de la cream' when is coming to smart cellphones ! Can any body confirm the jamin has wifi 'g' ? Anything slower and is useless for me because it will pull the whole network down. Thanks for your input thou. :D

I say no to Jammin and i say no to N80 i say welcome to the htc hermes, it has everythink the Jammin have but with a few extras like the slide out keyboard and a faster processor which is 416mhz and 3g, so its the best of both worlds and dont forget edge too .

although I'll be getting the P990 to give a thorough check out, the Hermes is defintily my k-jam replacement as 3g is really all that is missing IMHO
I personally don't see the attraction of the Jamin. Its really just a slightly improved JAM but without the slide out keyboard of the k-jam and yet priced at around the same level at the k-jam
