Hi. I've seen some differences in the EXIF information between pictures taken with my K750 (R1AA008 prgCXC125952_EU_1_CL 4.5) and the pictures taken with a friend's W800 (R1AA008 prgCXC1250092_EU_1_CA 4.5). First of all what means CL 4.5 and CA 4.5 and what's the difference.
Secondly, in the pictures taken with my K750, in the "Light source" field in the EXIF information says "unknown" in every picture. In the W800 EXIF in some pictures same field is "Fine weather". I've taken about 1000 pictures with my phone but never seen anything except "unknown" in the "Light source" field.
In the "Flash" field says "Flash did not fire" whenever i've taken the picture with the flash on or off.
In the "Exposure bias value" it says "-1.00 EV" (i've reduced the luminosity), but , in the same picture, in the "Exposure mode" it says "Auto exposure". Shouldn't it says "Manual exposure" ?

I started this thread because i'm not fully satisfied with the camera on my K750, and no, i don't think that is a profesional camera, it's just a cameraphone, but i've seen here on esato , on the W800 and the K50 "post a picture thread", very good quality pictures that i never got from mine. I admit that i'm not very good at photography but i try to learn. I'm amazed by the pictures of marlonski and many more, i will learn from you if you want to teach me a little.

Sorry 4 my english.

Regards,
Curmurdar.

The EXIF differences are just due to the fact the phones are running different firmwares. Same version, small differences due to functionality.

EXIF discrepancies are likely due to the fact that the way the camera does things doesn't really conform to EXIF standard. Such as, the flash isn't a "true" flash, it's just a bright LED and has nowhere near the same light penetration. I'd imagine it'd be true of most lenses with physically fixed magnification/apertures. (i.e. - done through software only)

That's quite true. I've found the K750 exif support adequate but not thorough.

The "light source unknown" will be in the EXIF data if you leave the white balance on automatic, because the phone (and any other camera for that matter) cannot distinguish lighting types. But if you use any of the manual white balance settings, the selected setting will appear in the EXIF data.
